Parent Teacher Association

The Parent Teacher Association is a statutorily constituted elected body which aims at the overall development of the college. Parental co-operation in creating a healthy campus atmosphere is of utmost importance. The PTA aspires for co-operation and participation of parents in full measure, in the wholesome activities of the college. An Executive Committee, comprising the Principal as Chairman, a teacher elect as the Secretary and six others, meets frequently to carry out the regular affairs of the body. A general body, consists of all the parents and teachers, meets occasionally and it gives paramount importance in ensuring a healthy and congenial academic atmosphere in the college.The Parent- Teacher Association has been very active in St Mary’s college since its beginning. It aims at the promotion of the all - round development of students. The PTA raises funds through donations from its members and spends them for the benefit of the students. It has instituted several attractive cash awards and scholarships to the students who excel in academic and extracurricular activities. The PTA involves in all the activities of the college in collaboration with the teachers and students.

A general Body Meeting was conducted on 26th February 2021 in the College auditorium at 1:30 pm. In this meeting, the executive members were elected under the guidance of Dr. Balachandran K K, HOD of Department of commerce.Rev Fr. Denny Cholapallil, the principal addressed the gathering.Rev Fr Varghese Kochuparanbil, the administrator spoke of the forthcoming silver jubilee celebration and the plan of conducting 25 item programs.
