St Mary’s College, Puthanangadi is a unique institution of higher education in several ways. Our college is situated near Angadippuram Thirumandhamkunnu temple in the Malappuram Dist. Kerala. The College has the easy accessibility of both the road and the railways.
Strategic location of our institution afford easy access to all the amenities such as health and transportation services.The institution has a total land area of around 11 acres with wide range of facilities like canteen, Lawn, Talking space, Yoga centre, Auditorium, various laboratories, hostel for both boys and girls etc.The management continuously strives to meet the growing needs of the institution by constantly upgrading the physical and infrastructural facilities for enhancing better teaching and learning environment and they in turn recommend various
The college campus is refreshingly green with beautiful gardens which provide a shady ambience to the premises.The College is endowed with excellent physical infrastructure which provides an academic atmosphere conducive to the integrative development of the students and the institution has adequate facilities for teaching & learning and we have taken every care to provide all the facilities that are vital to bringing out the best in our students.In order to help our students with a deeper understanding of the subjects, we have well-equipped Laboratories provided with all the required apparatus, chemicals and specimens that provides the trainees comfortable working conditions to conduct the experiments.
The auditorium of our College is used for conducting general assemblies and other programmes.To provide a healthy and simulating environment to our students, we have fully equipped seminar Halls. They are spacious enough to accommodate a large number of students. A large number of seats are available to facilitate seating of a significant number of students comfortably. These are well ventilated and installed with multimedia facilities like LCD Projector and others.
The College has separate courts viz., basketball, volleyball, football, cricket, and throw ball.
The college offers 13 UG, 2 PG programs.The college has 45 highly advanced classrooms with 5 LCD enabled classes, 8 Smart classes, 2 seminar halls and 65 computing systems.The college has 2 Xerox machines, 2 Scanners and 5 printersThe use of the college building and infrastructure is optimized between 9 am- 4 pm. After regular class hours , class rooms and labs are used for add on courses and for certificate courses.To enhance the employability of our students the much sought is made available for conducting coaching classes such as Net coaching.Skill oriented courses are also offering for promoting soft skills among students.
The Institution has a well- maintained web portal that makes available to the public events and functions happening in the College.The College has a well- furnished 2 computer Labs managed by computer department along with a professional expert with 65 systems and 7 systems exclusively for browsing.
Students and teachers depend on the Lab for all their academic and professional needs.Maximum communication to departments and students is made through mails and other electronic media.There are different WhatsApp groups for teachers, non- teaching staff, HOD, students etc. in the College for its smooth functioning.The management has decided to equip more in the coming future. Thus, our Institution is always ready to update its IT facilities.
