ST.MARY'S COLLEGE, PUTHANANGADI has established an Institution's Innovation Council(IC202427532)in the campus as per the norms of Innovation Cell, Ministry of Education, Govt. of India during the academic calender year 2023-24

Institution's Innovation Council (IIC)Launched in 2018 by the MoE's Innovation Cell (MIC) in collaboration with AICTE, the IIC program is a systematic initiative designed for Higher Educational Institutions (HEIs) in India.

Core Objective: To foster, mentor, and nurture a vibrant culture of innovation, design thinking, and startup ecosystems among students and faculty members during their formative academic years.

Key Functions: Organizing periodic hackathons, ideation challenges, workshops on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), and connecting campus innovators with a network of industry experts, investors, and pre-incubation mentors.
