VIVA - LAB GUIDELINES

  1. Students should maintain complete silence and decorum in the lab.

  2. Students get the experiments allotted well in advance. And should be prepared with the theory and manipulations of the experiment

  3. Follow the instructions of the tutor and the lab assistant

  4. Students should use computers taking care of them as their own property.

  5. Students should leave their footwear outside the lab in the space allotted
  6. The furniture and the articles in the lab should be kept intact

  7. Be responsible for any breakage or loss of articles used. One should report every breakage or loss immediately to the tutor in charge.

  8. No student is permitted to shift or interchange any part of the computer with another.

  9. Log out and shut down the computer when you leave.

  10. Use the lab only for academic requirements

  11. For any hardware problem report to the lab in charge

  12. Students should refrain from downloading objectionable materials from the internet. Violation of this rule will result in stringent disciplinary action

  13. Students should follow the procedures prescribed for logging in and logging out.

  14. Each user must have one's own personal account. Accounts are not to be shared with others for ensuring accountability.

  15. Personal programme files should not be installed in the computer for licensing and security reason

  16. Personal work files may be brought into the lab, but must be scanned for viruses prior to use. Permission from the lab in charge should be sought to prevent system infection.

  17. Hacking (attempting to gain unauthorized access to secure content or objectionable websites, violation of system policies, virus creation or propagation) is prohibited

  18. Violation of lab rules will necessitate serious disciplinary action
