The Postgraduate Department of Commerce and Management Studies is the largest in the college. B.com CA and BBA were the very first branches of the commerce department and they were established in the year 2010. Later, in 2013, PGpogramme was initiated and in the very next year itself, the B.com Finance programme was set up. Currently, we are having the B.com Co-operation programme also which began in the year 2017. Around 600 students are studying in these different courses (BBA, B.Com Computer Application, B.com Co-operation, B.com Finance, and M.com (Finance)).

Through consistent efforts and upgradation, the department has carved its niche in the academic compass. The department intends to reinforce phenomenal learning by creating an academic culture. In the light of revitalizing academic delicacy, we also provide ACCA courses to our students with the collaboration of ISDC. The Department of Commerce pays special attention to arrange the UGC NET orientation programme for the M.com students along with their academic course. The department coordinates programmes such as seminars, business quiz, and various management games as a part of commerce association activities. We have a strong ED club that endeavors to find entrepreneurial skills among the students. This will enable them to attend interviews and take up project works on completion of their course.
