The Under Graduate department of Economics was started in 2010. Mrs. Sreedevi V was the HOD. The undergraduate programme with 13 students was begun in 2010-11. The present sanctioned strength is 50. The department feels happy for having produced some of the best results in the University. Students of Economics in this college are in the forefront of extracurricular activities. Many of our students, past and present have come out with flying colours in the fine arts, sports and games and have taken the name and fame of the college.
