EXAMINATION RULES

  1. Internal assessment is held twice a semester, one in the middle of the semester and another prior to the end semester university examinations.

  2. Class tests and internal examinations will be conducted time to time. Serious notice will be taken if the absence is without leave in such tests and examinations.

  3. . Students must sign the attendance sheet during every examination.

  4. No examination will be conducted for the benefit of absentees. Students from the selection or promotion examination will be normally have no right for promotion even if leave of absence is granted on medical or other grounds.

  5. Students must bring their hall ticket and college identity card when they appear for the examination

  6. Students should keep their belongings outside the examination hall. Invigilators are not accountable for the loss of any of their belongings.

  7. Absolute silence should be maintained in the examination hall.

  8. Students can carry only what is permitted as per requirement of the examination.

  9. Sharing of examination paraphernalia with others in the examination hall is strictly prohibited

  10. Tearing out pages or parts of answer books provided for the examination is strictly prohibited and punishable

  11. Rough work and calculations must be done in the answer book only

  12. Ensure that your answers carry the correct question number in the book

  13. Students shall not indulge in any kind of malpractices in the examinations

  14. Any communication with others verbally or none verbally in the examination hall will be treated as a punishable malpractice

  15. Students found guilty of using unfair means in the examination hall will be reported to the university and may result in the student being debarred for a period of three years, be suspended or be expelled from the university.

  16. A student caught using fraudulent methods for any of the subjects during internal assessment will be given zero for all the subjects in the ensuing examinations.

  17. Students can leave the examination hall only during the last 30 minutes of the examination time

  18. If students require assistance from the invigilator or need supplementary material for writing, the attention of the invigilator can be drawn by raising a hand without disturbing others.

  19. Question paper should carry only your register number and name.

  20. A progress report will be sent to each parent or guardian after the terminal examination giving details of progress in studies of each student and attendance gained by the student together with remarks of the tutor and principal
